Mars launches brand new Snickers Crisp

Mars Wrigley Confectionery will soon be offering consumers a brand-new product, with the launch of the new Snickers Crisp at the end of July.
The new bar will contain the classic Snickers flavours including peanuts, caramel and chocolate, with the addition of puffed rice to make the bar lighter for consumers. With just 97 calories in each, the new bar’s packaging with maintain the iconic snickers logo, but with a light-blue background, allowing it to stand out from original Snickers products. Its will be supported by a £1.2 million digital and social media campaign.
Snickers has been a favourite amongst consumers for nearly 90 years and is now worth an estimated £69.4 million. Branded as the Marathon up until 1990, the brand has been marketed with the help of many famous faces over the years, from Elton John to Rowan Atkinson as his Mr Bean character, Joan Collins to Mr T.
