Walkers crisps given facelift which celebrates their Britishness

The range of crisps available on the shop shelves seems to increase on a monthly, if not weekly or daily basis. New flavours, limited editions, baked, popped, the choice is never ending. One crisp brand and range that has earned a seemingly permanent space on our shelves and in our hearts is Walkers and their core range of crisps.
As a nation we love the Walkers classic range of crisps which includes tried and tested traditional flavours such as ready salted, cheese and onion and prawn cocktail along with some newer flavours like marmite and tomato ketchup.
Even a massive brand like Walkers knows that competition in the snack market is tough, so to ensure their crisps continue to stand out on the shop shelves they have given their packaging a redesign. According to Walkers the new design will help to continue to build and strengthen the brand’s connection with its customers.
The new packaging is still clearly recognisable as Walkers with the logo now featuring prominently in the centre of the packet. The fresh new designs celebrate the brands Britishness and feature British icons such as Big Ben, a traditional red telephone and Liverpool’s iconic Liver Building as well as a subtle union jack background. The packets have been given a fresh, modern feel with the introduction of a mix of matt and gloss finishes.
