Job Description: Graphic Designer FTC
We're hiring a Graphic Designer on an FTC as maternity cover! The role will be 12 months + a suitable crossover period prior to April.
Job description:
As the Graphic Designer for Forrest Fresh Foods, you will play a crucial role in the creation of various marketing materials to promote our products and services. You will report directly into our Head of Marketing and working with the team of 6, design compelling assets, produce a wide range of print and digital assets, our promotional brochure and support the design, photography and editing required for our e commerce platform.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design the regular promotional brochure, including listings, adverts and supporting materials in line with promotional periods.
- Design or amend supplier artwork to for various placements
- Design onmi-channel campaign materials, for a variety of audiences as required, including print, email, social, web and more.
- Output regular promotional materials, print and digital, in line with the promotional period changeovers.
- Design and print management for various POS materials.
- Event exhibition stand design and print management.
- Take ownership of projects and ensure they are followed through with detail.
- Proactively make suggestions and improvements to process to increase the design output of the team without extra resource.
- Assist in creating quarterly reporting decks for suppliers.
- Photograph and edit various pack shots for ecommerce listings and marketing purposes.
- Upkeep and amend the designs for all email signatures.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and the wider business, including internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Contribute to the research, competitor analysis and ideation process of all internal and external marketing and communication activities.
- Produce a wide variety of assets including static, animated and video if needed.
- Stay up to date with the marketing, design and industry trends.
- Provide support for marketing events and exhibitions.
- Support the business direction for the brand, establishing and maintaining brand guidelines, always acting as a brand
guardian.
 Skills and experience:
- 5+ years in design & some in video creation, with strong brochure design experience
- Digital Brochures & Printing Techniques
- Adobe Creative Suite: illustrator, InDesign,
Photoshop, Premier Pro - Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft package
Essentials
- Sound understanding of marketing principles.
- Excellent Project Management Skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Adobe software suite.
- Capable of managing multi-tasking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with Digital Marketing and Social Media Platforms.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality design work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.

- With the support of the Senior Buyer define the category strategy, range, price & promotional strategy for your categories
- Sourcing the best deals in the market by leveraging your network
- Agree JBPs & marketing activities with Manufactures/Suppliers
- Proactively manage Supplier/Manufacturer payments & payment terms to optimise cash flow
- Proactively manage orders, delivery & transport to optimise profitability
- Develop relationships with suppliers and manufacturers
- Manage promotional calendar for your categories
Skills Required
